Youth Ministries

Youth Sunday School
Sunday School, for children grades K through 6, is from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. from September to June. We kick off the Sunday School year in September with a "Rally Day." We have age appropriate curriculum and worship songs. In addition, children learn to be a part of the church worship serving as crucifer, acolytes, and lectors. All Sunday School children participate in a special ministry in which an adult member of the church serves as "Blessing Buddy". Sunday School children also participate in the annual Christmas and Easter Pageants.
Confirmation Classes
For children grades 7th through 9th.
Classes meet Monday nights at 6 p.m. for instruction with Pastor Smith.
Contact Pastor Smith for more information.
First Communion Class
Classes offered annually.
Blessing Buddies
A special ministry of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in which an adult member of the church is a "Blessing Buddy" to a child in Sunday School. Each child is assigned an adult buddy and special events are scheduled during the year in which the Sunday School children share time working with their adult buddy on a special outreach project. This is an opportunity to build strong inter-generational bonds.
Children’s Choir
Meets during Sunday School and sings at church the first Sunday of the month.
Youth Lock-In
Youth lock-ins are scheduled a few times a year in conjunction with a church ministry. In 2016 Pastor Smith held two youth lock-ins: In the Spring the youth prepared items for the church garage sale. In December they participated in the Angel Tree share event in which they purchased, wrapped, and delivered gifts to families in need.
