Thrivent Financial Services Mission Support
Bethlehem has participated in the Thrivent Action Team Program, a grant-type program available to all Thrivent members who hold Thrivent products. Members sponsor projects which benefit missions supported by Bethlehem in our community, local communities, veterans and military serving abroad.
Some past Thrivent projects have included:
- Prayer Bears
- Baby Shower for Lutheran Social Services
- Rally Day BBQ
- $500 for 500 for Uniondale Food Pantry
- Angel Tree Shopping for youth
- Cookies & Caroling

Bethlehem supports a number of community groups throughout the year including AA (meets Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings), Greater Nassau Chorus, Girl Scouts, our own Tai Chi Chuan classes, Yoga classes, and Baldwin Civic Association.
